Hello! My name is Brian. I recently (April 2024) quit my day job to pursue my true passion- this. Between vendor events and my photography, I’m at the trailhead of finally pursuing my dream career. Originally, I left school just to start Box Records because I didn’t have nearly enough time to do both and I couldn’t drop my dream once it was within reach. Then, I was trying to balance my day job with BoxRex AND my photography. Most risks are worth taking, so I’m taking a chance on my dream. I want to make physical media an exciting experience for everybody. As wonderful as streaming is, nothing compares to that crackle and pop of vinyl, or that distinct feeling of carefully removing your favorite album from its sleeve, or the humming of a CD player searching for that track you’ve had stuck in your head all day. Nothing compares to seeing all that art on a shelf. To see it grow from one to ten, ten to fifty and so on. I had the idea to start a record store so that I could keep this experience alive and relevant for all people. It all starts right here. What I truly want is to bring a unique experience to you. One that you can’t wait to share with others. One that you can’t help but chase. I can’t wait to host this experience for you. I have a lot of big plans for us and it all starts with you.
